HOW IT WORKS — THE ENGAGEMENT PROCESS
Discovery Session (90 minutes)
We begin with a structured working session. You bring your current priorities, your key challenges, and your context. I bring questions, frameworks, and immediate insight. You leave with clarity regardless of whether we proceed.
Onboarding & Alignment (Week 1)
Once you decide to proceed, we spend your first week building the foundation. I learn your world — your team, your calendar system, your communication preferences, your key stakeholders, and your priorities for the next 90 days. We agree on communication rhythms, access levels, and how we will work together.
Integration (Weeks 2–4)
I begin operating alongside you. Calendar review, inbox access (if included in your tier), first Priority Brief delivered, first strategy session completed. By the end of Week 4, you should already feel the difference in your bandwidth and clarity.
Ongoing Partnership
From Month 2 forward, the rhythm is established. Monthly strategy sessions, weekly async check-ins, operational support running in the background. Quarterly reviews ensure we are always aligned with your evolving priorities. The relationship deepens as I learn your world more deeply.
Scaling the Engagement
As your needs evolve, the engagement can scale. Additional hours, broader scope, deeper integration — all within the existing relationship. Many clients begin at the Clarity Partner tier and move to Integrated or Chief of Staff as trust is established.

How is this different from hiring a senior executive assistant?
An Executive Partner anticipates what is needed before it is asked and brings strategic thinking to every interaction.Â
We are managing your calendar so you can lead. The work may sometimes look similar. The value and the relationship are completely different.
Can I start with a smaller commitment and scale up?
Yes. Many clients begin with the Clarity Partner tier to establish the relationship and trust. As the engagement deepens, most move to the Integrated or Chief of Staff tier naturally. The 3-month minimum applies to all tiers, but there is no ceiling on how deeply we can work together.
How quickly can we begin?
Once the Discovery Session is complete and you decide to proceed, we can begin formally within 5–7 business days. You will receive your engagement agreement via DocuSign and an onboarding questionnaire to complete before our first working session.
Is this fully confidential?
Completely. Every ExecSage engagement is protected by a full non-disclosure agreement as a standard, non-negotiable term. What happens in the partnership stays in the partnership. This is foundational to the trust the service is built on.
What if it is not working?
After the initial 3-month term, either party may conclude the engagement with 30 days written notice. You will receive a full handover document covering all active workstreams, contacts, and context. Transparency and a clean exit are part of the standard.
